For nearly ten years, I have been living and organizing fishing trips in Madagascar, creating a place that many of our guests regularly return to for more adventures.During this time, we have gained invaluable experience in the waters surrounding Nosy Be, discovered the best fishing spots, and built a team that has remained virtually unchanged since the very beginning. It is the people who are one of our greatest assets. Geraldo, Giowanni, Judie, and the entire crew have been working with me for years to ensure that each trip is not only effective in terms of fishing but also safe and comfortable.
We do not organize ordinary fishing trips. Our specialty is multi-day Big Game Fishing expeditions in the open ocean, during which we stay on the catamaran for five days and four nights, fishing far from the shore.We do not return to base every day, allowing us to reach remote, proven fishing grounds, increasing the chances of encountering the largest predators of the Indian Ocean. This method of fishing allows us to fully utilize Madagascar's potential and experience a true fishing safari.
Intimate groups of 4 people mean comfortable fishing conditions.
The standard group consists of 4 fishermen. Each of them then has their own cabin on the catamaran and their own bedroom in our house by the ocean.

What does our fishing trip to Madagascar look like?
Every expedition is a bit different, as the ocean writes its own script every day. However, over the years we have developed a program that combines intense fishing, comfortable relaxation, and exploration of the extraordinary corners of Nosy Be. Below, we present a sample itinerary for a 10-day expedition.
Day 1 – Welcome to Nosy Be!
Your adventure begins at the airport, where we will be waiting for you upon your arrival. We will then take you to our comfortable house located right by the ocean. After settling in, it's time to relax after your journey, meet the crew, discuss the itinerary, and enjoy a group dinner. This is also a perfect moment to feel the unique atmosphere of Madagascar and prepare for the upcoming excitement.
Day 2 – Setting out for big fish
After breakfast, we transfer to our fully equipped catamaran. After boarding and a brief introduction to the vessel, we begin our cruise to distant fishing grounds. Around 1 PM, we arrive at the fishing area and start our first fishing battles with the residents of the Indian Ocean. The standard group consists of four anglers, and each participant has their own cabin, ensuring comfort throughout the expedition.
Days 3–7 – A true fishing safari
These are the days that bring people to Madagascar. For five days and four nights, we live on the ocean, fishing far from shore at proven fishing spots. We do not return to base for the night, allowing us to maximize the best feeding hours for fish and take advantage of night fishing opportunities.
Every day we adjust our fishing techniques to the conditions and preferences of the group. Trolling, popping, jigging, or live bait fishing – all to increase the chances of encountering marlin, sailfish, tuna, GT, and many other species. Our crew, along with the irreplaceable Judie, ensures full meals and a good atmosphere on board.
On the last day of the cruise, we gradually head back towards Nosy Be, taking with us memories, photos, and stories that will be recalled for a long time during meetings with friends.
Day 8 – Relaxation and tropical islands
After intense days at sea, it's time to unwind. This is the perfect moment to discover one of the picturesque islands surrounding Nosy Be. You can swim with sea turtles, dive on coral reefs, have lunch on the beach, or simply enjoy the tranquility of a tropical paradise.
Day 9 – Discovering Nosy Be
Before you is a day to explore the island. We will visit local markets, the colorful streets of Hell-Ville, viewpoints, and places that will give you a better understanding of Madagascar's culture and daily life. This is also a great opportunity to buy souvenirs and soak up the island atmosphere before returning home.
Day 10 – See you in Madagascar!
After breakfast, it’s time to say goodbye to Nosy Be. We provide transfer to the airport and assistance with your return arrangements. However, from experience, we know that most of our guests leave Madagascar with one thought: "When will I come back here again?"
