Madagascar is one of the most unique fishing areas in the Indian Ocean. Its location at the confluence of warm currents makes the waters around the island offer exceptionally rich and stable fishing grounds. The region Nosy Be connects deep ocean waters with reefs, lagoons, and archipelagos of islands, allowing for the fishing of both pelagic and reef fish – often in a single day.
Among the species found here are: marlin, countless sharks, sailfish, tunas (including Dogtooth Tuna), dorado (Mahi Mahi), Wahoo, huge barracudas, and Giant Trevally.Fishing is conducted using methods of trolling, spinning, popping, and jigging, with gear adapted for large fish and tough conditions. Low fishing pressure and natural seasons ensure that the fishing grounds remain wild and incredibly effective.

Day 8
After breakfast, we set off to explore Nosy Be from the land. It's a day where colors, smells, and tastes of the island mix together. We visit local markets where you can buy spices, handicrafts, and souvenirs that truly have a story. Lunch at one of the best restaurants on the island is also planned, , and for those interested, a visit to a unique, wild lemur park, exploring remote islets with local communities—everything arranged on the go with the group. In the evening, we return home for dinner and our last overnight stay.
Day 9
Morning breakfast, farewell to Madagascar, and transfer to the airport in Nosy Be.
We return to our country witha head full of memories, photos, and stories that will bring joy for a long time.
Expedition Plan
Day 1
Already at the airport in Nosy Be, you can feel that this will not be an ordinary trip. The warm air, the scent of the ocean, and the first smiles of the local residents set the mood that cannot be replicated. Our team is waiting for us on site, and a free transfer to the house, located in a tropical setting.
After settling in, there is time to relax after the journey, have initial conversations, and catch the island's rhythm. In the evening, we gather for dinner, where in a casual, expedition-like atmosphere, we discuss the details of the upcoming adventure — the route of the cruise, fishing methods, options for additional activities, and what to expect in the coming days. Overnight in the house and the first sleep in the atmosphere of Madagascar.
Day 2-6
Every morning starts peacefully — breakfast on board, a view of the endless water, and the awareness that another day of adventure lies ahead.
After boarding the comfortable catamaran, we set sail towards familiar fishing grounds, ranging from a few to even a hundred kilometers from shore.
During the day, we focus on why we are here: fishing at the highest level. We fish using various methods — trolling, spinning, popping, or jigging — always adapting them to the conditions and the group's preferences. We use professional fishing gear, and emotions can reach a peak when the ocean shows its power.
Between fishing sessions, it’s time for pure relaxation. Crystal-clear waters, snorkeling among reefs, swimming near uninhabited islands, and brief visits to local villages allow us to experience Madagascar from an authentic perspective. For those interested, we also organize night fishing, which has a completely different vibe and provides unique experiences.
In the evenings, the catamaran anchors in shallow, calm waters. Dinners on board, conversations under the starry sky, Malagasy rum, and the sounds of the ocean in the background create an atmosphere that is unforgettable. Every night we sleep on the catamaran, away from civilization, in full comfort with all meals included in the trip price.
Day 7
After intense days at sea, it's time to slow down. We dedicate this day to relaxing by thecrystal-clear water, surrounded by wild nature. No rush, no plans — it's time for swimming, kayaking, snorkeling, resting, and simply being here and now.
It's the perfect moment to sort out the impressions and emotions from our fishing successes and enjoy the tranquility of Madagascar.
