Find out what a typical day on such an expedition looks like. How do we live? What do we catch? How do we change our fishing techniques? And finally, what results do we achieve Our fishing expeditions by catamaran last five days of fishing at sea, without returning to base. We reach places where others do not fish, which is why we achieve such results. Before and after the expedition, you are accommodated in our colonial house with an ocean view.
Madagascar – just the name brings to mind exoticism, wild nature, and endless possibilities. However, for fishing enthusiasts like me, who have been fishing there for eight years, it is primarily an eldorado full of emotions, adventures, and spectacular catches A day on the ocean begins early – already at 7:00 some fishermen wake up to take advantage of the unique opportunities for morning catches.
Before breakfast, which is usually served around 8:00, many of us do not idle. The anchorage is the place where we most often start with popping or bottom fishing with a piece of fresh fillet. The morning fishing is not only a great warm-up but also a chance for spectacular bites from the fierce Giant Trevally (GT), which can stir emotions right from the start of the day.

Every morning is an opportunity to test different fishing methods. In shallow waters, popping and bottom fishing dominate, which are ideal for GT, snapper, or chicken fish. However, when we move to deeper waters, we change tactics and gear. Here, trolling reigns supreme – we set out several rods with various baits: live bonito, fish fillet, or artificial lures. Thanks to the variety of baits, we can expect catches of species such as sailfish, tuna, barracuda, mahi-mahi, wahoo, sharks, and even legendary marlins.
Fishing is the art of adapting to conditions. Depending on the weather, fish movements, and the activity of the fishing grounds, we change methods and techniques. Sometimes we return to shallow waters to try speed jigging, which allows us to catch completely different species.
In the evening, we anchor our catamaran in shallower waters and begin our night fishing. This is another opportunity to catch interesting species.
